Every year, athletes and spectators alike migrate to Beaver Creek mountain top resort
for the Birds of Prey Men's World Cup. But that is only a slice of what Beaver Creek
has to offer. From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch, to the open intermediate
trails of Larkspur and Rose Bowl, to the steep bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers
and riders of all abilities will feel at home on Beaver Creek Mountain.
At Beaver Creek grooming is their passion. They groom twenty hours a day, seven
days a week. Fifty-two operators work ten-hour shifts at 11,000 feet behind a turbo-charged
diesel engine. The result is 776 groomed acres a day or a total of 106,000 acres
per season of pure corduroy for your skiing pleasure.
Your mountain is their backyard and experiencing nature is a privilege that Beaver
Creek does their best to earn. Beaver Creek is 100% powered by wind, and recycles
1.4 million pounds of material every year. Even our trail maps are made with recycled

Not familiar with their mountain? Mountain Welcome Tours are available daily for
intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders that want to explore and learn
the mountain. Guests should meet at the top of the Centennial Express Lift at 10
a.m. for the complimentary two-hour tour.

Just 9 miles (15 minutes from the Westin), you can enjoy Vail Resort in all its
glory. Leaving from Avon Station (just 100 yards from the Westin), hop the public
transport (non-stop) for $5 cash, each way, and you can enjoy Vail without hassling
